Youth Ministry summary

2016 was a great year for the Youth in our church! As a youth leader, I was very happy to see the involvement of our young people in community outreach. We were able to put on a corn roast and meet many of our neighbors near the church. We were also able to help out with the new church outreach project by taking a Sabbath afternoon to head out and knock door to door and ask what people viewed as needs in the community. It wasn’t all hard work in the outreach aspect of things. We were able to take a Sabbath day trip up to the Indiana Dunes and enjoy God’s beautiful and fun nature together! We also took a camping trip to Brown County. Some young people can’t get enough of it as we are still getting requests for the next 2017 camping trip! We are also very thankful to the Avila family for graciously hosting Youth get to-gathers at their house. Either on the lake having fun in the middle of summer, or playing card games, dodge ball and ping pong in the middle of winter, Thanks! We’re excited to see where the Lord will lead this group of young people in 2017. Jeff and Kim Landess
